I believe...

This is my own spin off on the Random Things post. I felt like my responses were not as deep as they could have been and decided that it needed to be less about "things" and more about what's in my head. I'm sure I will have more to add as time goes on (may even make this into a scrapbook page someday)

WARNING!! below you are about to find out what's in my head. So, here is the place to write about religion, and politics, vaccines (LOL) etc etc - so if you are feeling it, consider yourself tagged.

I believe...

... Jesus died for me

... my husband and children are the best "things" to have come into my life

... we should pray for our President regardless of who he is and what he stands for - some just need MORE prayer than others (wink wink)

... in setting goals of any kind and working hard to achieve them

...change is good, I actually really like it

...you can't please everyone (believe me, I've tried)

...what doesn't kill you really does make you stronger

...sometimes being a good friend requires telling them something they don't want to hear

...that vaccines are ultimately OK for my children, but I am still scared about the effects of them and will watch for reactions closely

...places in this world are not really that far away and if you want to go there badly enough you will find a way

...your physical relationship with your spouse can often tell so much about your mental relationship

...no matter how much money we make we just spend more, so we will probably not ever be rich (maybe we should work on that)

...it IS possible to lose weight

...in having a positive attitude (even though I let negativity sneak in entirely too much)

...we are responsible for our own happiness, not someone else - SO moral of the story - if YOU are not happy - then YOU need to do something about it

...in living a life of "NO REGRETS" - I TRY to make my choices based on that

...there is so much to be learned from how you were raised, no matter if it was the best OR worst situation

...there is a place for everything and everything in its place

...my face will always look like a hormonal teenager's

...disciplining your children is quite possibly the best thing you can do for them (and those around them too - HA)

...in miracles

...the world is full of some really great people - many I even know personally

...that I have become my mother in so many ways and I don't mind :)

...you can be amazingly close to people even though they are miles away (a lot has to do with good ole technology)

...the Internet is the one thing I would take on a deserted island, I also believe it is the biggest time waster on earth, and that's ok

...family can make or break you, most often it is both

...the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way - sorta just singing a song, but it's actually quite true

...anything is possible, if you put your mind to it (yes a bit over used, but I DO believe it)

Inspiring...thanks for sharing. Even though I'd never be able to write it down as eloquently as you, it has made me think about what I believe :-)

Great list! I probably will steal you idea one day when I catch up ... this being isolated by the ice storm has really interrupted by online communications! :)

I enjoyed reading what's in your head! Thank you for the nice compliment too! Looking forward to the past week's photos. Forgot to ask about Cade's game Saturday, I suppose it was postphoned. Hope to see you soon.
