December 7th

So today is a cop-out thank you... I was supposed to go to church today and have a more deep thank you, but the kids let me oversleep (for real - Cory got up at 7:30 and then went back to sleep and so did I. I thought she'd be up by 9am or so but ummm. nope 10:30am is when we got out of bed. You know, the time church begins!) Hmm... I could be thankful for sleeping in! So instead I decided to go for a more seasonal thank you (not to mention that I NEVER take pics of this stuff) So I'm thankful for the Holiday Season in general! Here are some of my favorite decorations:

Byron's aunt makes these baskets that I have all over the house.
Here's my fave Christmas one.
Even though it's pretty outdated, I have really liked this fireplace this winter.
We usually don't burn it b/c we thought it would cost a fortune,
but we just got our gas bill and wohoo, not so bad!!
These Boyd's Moose are on my mantle. I used to collect Boyd's (only the moose, not the bears) and just think these guys are the best - "Moostletoe"
These ornaments are ugly I admit, but they were bought in Germany when I was in college along with many other Christmas decorations. I just think they are so ugly they're cute!
Made this Cade's 1st Christmas with our thumbprints.

We also did a little Christmas running today to see....
..this man.
Cade has never wanted to see him before, but this year he was all about it.
Cory did pretty good. A little concerned, but not bad.
Picked up the paper at Target that I'm going to make this album out of. Ali said we were supposed to use stuff we already had, but I honestly tried and just didn't have what I needed.
Also, picked up this!
and can we all say - WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! YES -THANKFUL!!

Cate has that same Christmas tree shirt Cory is wearing. It's so cute! And that hat is adorable too.

She looks too cute on that hat.

My target didn't have that paper. I like it better than mine! ;)
