snow skiing
**NEW posts below** I was incredibly excited to finally take Cade snow skiing. Byron and I have talked about taking him for years and for one reason or another it just hadn't happened until this week. Well of course the day we had planned to go was a day that the daycare kids didn't have school (didn't actually go back until Thursday) so it was either take them too or not go. I opted for taking them with us -I was THAT desperate. I decided it could help Cade and thankfully it was not a big deal and everyone had a really good time. Cade even cried when it was time to go so we have promised him we would go again. I know it's incredibly goofy, but watching him ski was surreal for me. It actually brought tears to my eyes. First of all, a year ago I don't think he had the guts to try something new and THEN to watch him go down the hill (bunny hill that is) by himself over and over was just hard for me to believe that we were actually there. Now, I've got a few more years for Corynn's first time. Byron and I are thrilled that he loves it and look forward to more family adventures.

So glad he did better than I did. I'm impressed Byron can ski backwards to help him.
