In one year's time I have:
*learned to really like pink
*decided that pacies can stick around for a little longer (no biggie)
*learned that peek-a-boo is darn cute no matter how old you are
*reconciled myself that being messy is quite fun
*learned to go with the flow even more with the addition of another child (notice she is eating a cookie)
*made my mind up - my kids are the cutest I don't care what anyone says LOL!
*witnessed some of the sweetest moments of my life as Cade and Corynn get to know each other
*accepted that Daddy's really do have a special place in their hearts for little girls
*seen this little girl throw some nasty fits
*come to the realization that matching jammies really ARE a necessity
*accepted that fact that little girls are so cute with baby dolls
*learned that I CAN take 2 kids no matter the age gap places and it will be ok
*decided brother/sister bath time is quite a riot
*seen my family's heart grow bigger as we added another child (thanks Shelley, you were right)
*accepted that frilly dresses aren't so bad after all, as long as there is a sweet baby in it (the headbands, however, are STILL a no go)
*ok so bows aren't too bad either
*realized that mommies of little girls will put ridiculous hats on their babies simply because it matches that seriously cute swim suit
*learned that summer sun dresses are the BEST ever
*decided my kids really DO rock!
*learned it doesn't matter how many children you have, each one's first smile is priceless
*seen this big brother be quite proud (and protective) of his little sister, let's hope it lasts for many more years
Tomorrow we will have a small birthday party for Corynn - brunch style.
