My big boy is 5 years old! It's just really hard to believe. He was JUST born! Since his birthday was on a Thursday we just did a present from me and Byron and then he
conveniently had 2 friends spend the night (daycare kids that had to b/c of their mom's work). We had pizza and rented a movie. Then tomorrow we'll have a pool party with the family. He's pretty excited especially since his new found love of swimming. Cory was great help opening presents. And this was the first year he read his own birthday cards... crazy!
This is his "5 year old face." Definitely different than his 4 year old face.
Granny and Papaw (Byron's grandparents) brought him his favorite lunch. Which was also special because it was his last Happy Meal (that *I* am going to buy anyway, well guess *I* didn't buy it but you get the point).
Cade and I decided that once he was 5 he was old enough that he didn't need all that and that we could just get nuggets and apples and that would be
ok. I was just getting so tired of him wanting all that JUST for the stupid toy and like this house needs more toys anyway. So it's just a deal between me and him and then that allows the grandma's still do what they choose.
*Oh and the lump in the bed was a very sick Daddy who came home from work early super sicko! Luckily he is feeling better for the party and Byron's own birthday tomorrow. It is
bday central around here.

th, Byron's the 27
th and then mine is a week after Byron's.... poor Cory gets left out OR maybe it's a good thing
her's is in Feb....
