Finally... would anyone like to pee at my house??

Well several of you have asked me about the bathroom and how it's coming along and I can finally say I'm going to get to use it!! We still have some little minor things left, but I moved all the stuff back in tonight and am thrilled to show you all. I almost hate to show how bad this place was before, but I think it makes for some really great before and after shots so here it goes... (DISCLAIMER: We bought this house from Byron's grandparents and let's just say that not much had been done to it since the place was built in the early 60's. When viewing the before pics please keep in mind - *I* did NOT put on the wallpaper, nor did I do anything but hang the shower curtain.... this place is not MY fault - HA HA!!)

As for the after - Byron did an AWESOME job and I did not do hardly anything in here. I have totally gone from the wife that was in the mix with every project to the mommy with a baby on her hip hollering out places he missed... LOL! (oh and naturally the coloring is off, but you get the gist - it's a grey blue wall color)

I need something cute to put on that shelf...

AND yes - finally a bathtub WITH jets!!
Allie likes the new floor too.

It's funny - it was just like on tv - it cost WAY more than we planned and took WAY longer we wanted, but I absolutely love it!!!

**Oh and yes I'm a bad blogger, I haven't had to watch daycare kids much so I'm always off doing other things.

**Cade I have begun homeschooling so I try to do a little with him each day. We are building up to fall so I it won't be such a shocker to him when he has to stop playing for a few hours each day.
**What else... yes I read your emails (and blogs), but am just really bad at replying. I've got way too many in my inbox and plan to clean that mess up this weekend and then start replying as soon as a I get emails (sounds good anyway).

**OH I have scrapped 3 days in the last few weeks and have some pages to show, however no pics yet... I will soon.

**Had my first flat/blown out tire today on a major interstate with 2 kids - alone - wooo. We were fine, close to my parents exit (not that they were home but close to an exit anyway), AAA came and helped change it EVENTUALLY (glad I rejoined in Feb), drove 45mph on the hwy that is marked 70mph!! talk about scary, missed my nieces 1st birthday party (We were NOT happy!!), get to drive Byron's Denali all day tomorrow.... fun times!

**In kid news, Corynn has rolled from her back to her belly and is a smiley happy drooly mess. I do believe she is working on teeth. OH and at her 4 month appt she was 17lbs. The doc said she is just at the top of her growth chart for length and weight.

**In promo news: be sure to visit LA and her Freckled Nest shop - she is now full time (I'm super happy for you LA!!) and is working like a mad woman on projects!! AND Funky Jess has started a fun site called Funky Town - be sure to visit. THANKS Jess for the gift cert to www.littleuni.com - I get a personalized tee and hat - what should I get???

HOly crap! It looks awesome!!!! I LOVE everything about it. My fave? I think the square sink! How chic!

I can't believe he did it all by himself--so impressed! It looks professional.

Do you have a pic of Cade potty training? (that's a stupid question, of course you do) YOu should scrap a picture of him on the pot and frame it and stick it on that shelf. You can use paper that coordinates with the colors (which are fab, btw)

Wow, your bathroom looks great! This gives me hope as I too want to update ours which is 1960's also. Ours still has the dark wood, and gold flecked vanity top. LOL Our master has been updated, but not the second bath. Since I have two grown sons they don't really care what it looks like. Still it would be nice to have it look so bright and new. Have a good weekend with your family.
