Seriously...

It's been ANOTHER week. WOW - time just flies by. We are off to Gatlinburg again early tomorrow morning so I'm packing last minute of course. It's unreal how much more stuff you have to pack just for one little person who fits in my lap! I'm sure I'll have some fun pics from this weekend. We are going to celebrate Byron's grandmother's birthday and of course we all love the town so it's the perfect place to celebrate. And I"ll leave you with a few quotes from this week.

" She's the bestest baby ever." - Cade
(Since I'm all about being real - she IS pretty darn good EXCEPT from midnight to 2am - my sweet little night owl. She's not terrible just really likes to be awake at that time....) OH and I can not get this pic to turn for some reason but it's still cute - even sideways - look at her shoes and jeans!!

" The most beautiful girl in the world." - Cade
(AND yes, he's very sweet too, that's HIS special blankie that he's sharing with her, but again let's be real - he's been such a sneak with the food/candy/gum lately that there's no trusting him AND he's been nothing but rotten about getting more toys - like everyday talks about what new toy he wants. I think all the spoiling has finally caught up to us. It's insane!! AND yes read his shirt and it's soooo true!!)

And this is a special hello to our friends Kelly and Keith on Long Island. (Sorry still no Easter dress pic Kelly - I will get it from my father in law's camera this weekend.) We bought this shirt when we were visiting them and I was pregnant with Cade. Someday - when I make it upstairs and can actually remember something again I will get the cd that has Cade's pics on it and will do some comparison shots.

Reader's Poll: (HA all 3 of you!)

Since this has been a hot topic for me and my friends lately... Do you get your child all of their vaccinations? If not which ones do you do and why? Just curious. I'm varying Corynn's and have finally come up with a plan - she goes for her 6 week check up Tuesday. It's such a tough decision anymore... with Cade I did everything the docs wanted because that's what you do. Now I'm more educated on it and have just heard too many horror stories. So, now I'm getting some and splitting others up and not getting a few others. I would hate for Cory to get a disease BUT I also would hate for her to have a reaction to one of the vaccines especially a permanent reaction. It's just such a tough place to be in - so what do you do??

OH and HI MOM -sorry you have to come here to see new pics - I'm working on having some taken to pass out.

Three things ...

1. I love that "My mom rules" shirt that Cade is wearing.

2. Corynn is beautiful.

3. Cate has gotten all her vaccines to this point. I just the prevention outweighs the slim chance of an abnormal reaction. Plus, she didn't have a reaction so we just stayed on the suggested course of shots.

That shirt is awesome!

Also, Alexa has had all of her shots on the regular schedule. I know there are those who feel vaccines cause reactions, and I'm certainly not an expert...so I just trust God to protect her and figure His plan is ultimately best.

She's too cute. I love the jeans outfit too.

Call me when you get home.

I hope you all had a great time in Gatlinburg. I know what you mean about the smallest family member having the most luggage on a trip. It's just that you never know how many outfits they are going to mess up because of a leaky diaper and that bouncy seat would really come in handy, etc.
As far as immunizations go...both of my kids are up to date on theirs. I guess I am just in denial about something bad happening because of an immunization shot. I know and have read stories about such things, mainly autism. I agree with a previous post that God is ultimately in control and His grace is sufficant to carry us through what ever happens.

Not sure on the vaccines ... no kids here but I know that my brother, sister, and myself have had all of the vaccines!

Hey girl!! Love baby blue jeans (hate teenage girl blue jeans LOL)She is BEAUTIFUL in the NY shirt, my momma was looking too and said so! Love the cute Cade comments oh and Carson needs his shirt back (the one is cade is wearing!!)

Immunizations...I kept my older 2 on the recommended schdeule. Annie had all of hers until 1 year. At that time I made the mistake of research and as we know ignorance is bliss! From close friends with reactions to medical reports to the simple thoughts as to how can it be safe to give a 3 month old 8+ live viruses as once...I have stopped all vaccines at this point. We got about 6 in the 70's our children are know "recommended" over 30!!
I know God protects us all, but at some point we have to realize the more man made we get, the worse we make it on ourselves! Pesticides are good at what they were made to do...but now look at the harm that goes with it. Same goes with immunizations! LOL

Congrats on deciding on a safe vaccination plan for Cory!! (It is so stressful!!)
