I finally have pictures

So I ended up having to get a new card reader in order to get these pics on here. Which is fine by me I've been meaning to get one of those that reads all the different types of cards and Byron even had $10 off for Best Buy so I was thrilled. Cade's party went well. I'm worn out but it didn't rain until about 8pm so we just had cake on the back porch instead of the yard. The kids had plenty of time to play on the blow up slide, Cade was able to do the pinata and open presents outside and Byron was able to cook without the rain so overall it was good timing. AND I know it's crazy but Cade just looks older today for some reason... all grown up (sorta). The party was Spiderman themed and boy did we overdue Spidey.... I'm so over it, but Cade isn't.

My mom had asked Cade what kind of cake he wanted and he came up with some wacked out answer about a house cake, with butterfly juice and peppers. Oh my.. so my mom made him just that with a twist. It turned out so cute, that's the butterfly juice sitting next to it and the peppers are orange and she made them look like pumpkins. I guess it also resembles that Spooky Tree (or something similar) a book they have read together. So thanks mom - I loved it and so did Cade!!

And I will probably be disowned but I don't think my mother in law reads this anyway so don't you all tell. She got talked into going down the slide with Cade and I do believe she enjoyed it - totally love this picture.

These are some of the LO's I completed this weekend.
In the CM albums that I use I can put in an 8 1/2 x 11 page in between my 12x12's so I did that here so it doesn't break up the 2 page LO and it is also great when you have just a few too many pics. The other side has flowers too.

So this LO is a bit crazy... I had so many pictures from the State Fair and I ended up borrowing one of those paper taggers from a friend. I loved it but am not sure it's something I have to own, maybe I'll just borrow it once in awhile. ;) So the tags move around and overlap some and it isn't very easy on the eyes but you know what I got almost 30 pics on this LO (includes a little page also) so fine by me.

This has to be my fave. I had a free 11x14 from Shutterfly so I printed the tree one and have been wanting to do this forever so it was perfect. I was really happy with how it turned out -simple but I like it. You honestly don't hear me say that much. I'm entirely too critical of myself.

I think that was enough worth sharing, must feed us now.

I really love that tree picture too. I've been wanting to use a big print like that. Just haven't had the right shot to do it with. Yours is good inspiration, though.

I also love those black and white pictures with the blue and orange layout. Really classy.

You do a good job of getting a lot of pictures in a layout and it still looking good. Man, now I'm in the mood to scrap!
